The safari departs in the morning from Nairobi and involves a drive down to the floor of the great Rifty Valley making a stop at the viewpoint to see the escarpment and awesome sight of the great valley of Africa, to arrive in Masai Mara on time for Lunch followed by late afternoon game viewing that will introduce you to Kenya's most popular game sanctuary.
This trip involves three days of epic adventure in the Maasai Mara Game reserve. After arrival and lunch on day one, Lotima Travel Guides will take you on an afternoon game drive as an appetizer followed by the main course of two intense days of Game Drive.
Itineraries
Day 1
Nairobi - Masai Mara.
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley for the Masai Mara game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. afternoon game drive in the Reserve followed by dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp or an alternative Lodge. Approx Transit time 5hrs
Day 2
Masai Marai
Spend the whole day in Masai Mara where you will have the opportunity of spotting the Big Five in their natural habitat.
Game drives are flexible with the option of going out with picnic Lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Masai village. All meals and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3
Masai Mara-Nairobi.
Another early morning game drive in the Reserve and then depart after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving at around 13hrs.
Drop at your hotel or transfer to the Airport for onward flights.
