Itineraries
Day 1
Mombasa-Tsavo East
You will be picked up from your coastal hotel early in the morning and driven for two hours to Tsavo East National Park.
Enter the park through Bachuma gate and start your morning game drive. The game viewing will continue until 12 hrs when you arrive at Ashinil Lodge for lunch and check in for full board accommodation.
After lunch, you will rest for a few hours by the pool side which overlooks the vast plains of Tsavo. A nearby water hole provides a perfect chance to spot some wild animals as they quench their thirst. Evening game drives from 1600hrs to 1800hrs with the best opportunity to spot the cats and many other plain games.
Return to Ashinil Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Tsavo East/Amboseli.
Early breakfast as you check out and embark on a game drive en route to Amboseli National Park approx 3 hours drive.
Arrive in Amboseli and check in at the Oltukai Lodge. Afternoon game drive in the lush terrain of Amboseli which is naturally a combination of African bushland and savannah plains. The best place to see and to get a wonderful view of the(African top roof) snow-capped mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is also home to some of the largest herds of savannah elephants and a beautiful pride of lions.
Dinner + overnight at the Oltukai Lodge.
Day 3
Amboseli/Tsavo west.
Pre-breakfast game drives to view countless herds of elephants and other plain games. After breakfast depart for Tsavo West where you will pass through some magnificent volcanic lava flows "Sheitani lava flows are an extension of the dormant Chullu Hills volcanic eruptions.
Arrive at Kilaguni Serena Hotel for lunch and overnight accommodation.
In the afternoon depart for a long game drive which will take you to Mzima Springs an oasis of crystal clear water where hippos, fish, crocodiles, and a variety of aquatic birds swim together in peace.
Return to Kilaguni Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Tsavo west-Mombasa.
After breakfast, you will check out from the Lodge and depart for a long game drive en-route as you embark on a short trip back to Mombasa arriving in the late afternoon.
